The Christ Church School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Today was a pretty "magical" day. (I'll get to that later) Take a look!

Christ Church is a college and a cathedral. It's one of the bigger colleges on campus.

After paying a small fee, you are able to enter the grounds. Established around the 13th century, it's STILL a working college. This is the quad. We weren't allowed to walk on the grass, which is understandable seeing how pedicured it is!

This is the interior of Christ Church Cathedral. It's extremely old and beautiful...

The patron saint of Christ Church (and Oxford) is St. FridesWide. This stained glass is her life story.

The staircase where they shot a scene in the first Harry Potter! Where Prof. McGonagall welcomes the first years into Hogwarts and where they are about to enter...

The Main Hall of Christ Church AKA THE GREAT HALL OF HOGWARTS (Where they filmed the films)

Later, we went to Bodlien Library. THE Oxford Library. It's very old. Here's the main tower.

And here's the Divinity School AKA THE INFIRMARY IN THE FIRST TWO HARRY POTTER MOVIES

That was a nice and long day. I took a lot more pictures, but I thought I would just show the highlights. Otherwise, things are going well here. I'm just getting used to all the different forms of currency and even able to get around Oxford decently. By the end of the month, I'll be a pro. I hope everyone is doing well!

Chris
